THE MARKET

Bet on the Farm Farmer's Market RE-Opens Thursday December 1st

THE PLACE:	The Springs Preserve, 333 South Valley View Boulevard Las Vegas, NV 89107-4372
THE TIME:	Every Thursday from 10:00am - 3:00pm. (opens on 12/01/11)
THE GOODS:	Fruits, vegetables and herbs as well as delights like local honey and fresh eggs, agretti, pistachios from O.U. NUTS, local roasted coffee from CRCR, and dates from China Ranch.
THE SELECTION:	Limited to what's in season, locally grown in the Las Vegas area or trucked in from SoCal - not flown in from South America.
THE RULES:	Cash only.

HOW IT BEGAN

In June 2009, Mario Batali & Joe Bastianich, along with their partners at the Palazzo Hotel Casino came together for a one-day event celebrating B&B HOSPITALITY GROUP's accomplishments in the realm of sustainability. The occasion was marked by a Green Market inside the Palazzo Waterfall Atrium, and the following achievements were celebrated:

All three of B&B HOSPITALITY GROUP's Las Vegas Restaurants are Two Star Certified Green Restaurants™ by the Green Restaurant Association —
OTTO LAS VEGAS, B&B RISTORANTE, and CARNEVINO ITALIAN STEAKHOUSE.
The initiation of the truly sustainable Farmer's Market, which takes place every Thursday at B&B HOSPITALITY GROUP's off-site facility.

The event was a tremendous success. Hundreds of people visited the Atrium Market, creating exposure and new customers for our amazing farmers.
